Floral Painting Workshop with Fizzy Fairy Paintings – 16th August 2026

Join Ellie from Fizzy Fairy Paintings in this floral painting workshop,to paint a lovely floral scene with daisies, a hint of evening primrose and a tickle of something pink and purple.  A touch of sea is optional!

Using a 40 x 40cm square canvas, you’ll block out some shapes, mask some edges, flick, smear and artfully dabble on your florals over the afternoon. Ellie will be on hand to support with tips, techniques and guidance.

The workshop is held from 2-4.30pm on Sunday 16th August, at Yarny Bees, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield, WS14 9DT.

The workshop will be led by Ellie and she paints under the name: Fizzy Fairy Paintings.  Originally, Ellie started off painting watercolours for children’s rooms which included imps and were a lot of fun. She now paints anything and everything from wooden plaques, upcycled tiles, vases and glasses to canvases.

No experience is necessary and the outcomes will be uniquely yours..

All materials will be provided but please wear something which you don’t mind getting paint on as acrylics do not wash out.

And of course, there will be plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits!
