About Me

Yarny Bees was born in August 2020, the product of a long held dream by me, Becci, to have my own crafty business.

As a mum of two young boys, I am very conscious of my impact on the world, and want to leave it a better place for my children. With that in mind I make eco-friendly choices wherever I can. And it is very important to me that my personal ethos is echoed in Yarny Bees. So, I use only natural fibres (no plastic yarn here!) and recycled fabrics to make my products. (Some of the fabrics may contain manmade fibres, but better in your basket or coasters than in landfill!) The products are made with love, and made to last, supporting the slow fashion trend to buy things that can be worn for years to come. Or be worn by other babies or children once yours have outgrown them!

Our commitment to being eco-friendly extends to our packaging too! We use tissue paper and yarn scraps to wrap your items which are then sent to you in compostable mailing bags. We encourage you to reuse these where you can, and the mailing bags can be composted in your food waste bins or compost heaps when you are done!

I am constantly designing new products and coming up with new ideas, but I love a challenge! So if there is something you can’t find on the site that you would like making, please send me a message and I will do my best to accommodate!
