By placing an order with us, you are accepting the terms and conditons below.
Payment Terms
Your card or PayPal account will be charged at the time of order.
Orders
All items at Yarny Bees are made by hand, and most are made to order.
When you place an order, for some items we will contact you with photos to confirm your colour choices – particularly for custom items. Until we receive this confirmation, we will be unable to commence making your order, so please bare this in mind. On rare occasions we may be unable to source an appropriate yarn, so alternatives will be offered or you may choose to cancel the order. If you would rather have this discussion before placing your order you can contact us on admin@yarnybees.co.uk or via our Facebook or Instagram pages.
Please note, as with all Online Shopping, your completion of the checkout process does not explicitly guarantee we are able to supply the goods ordered and we reserve the right to cancel orders at any point up to the delivery.
Delivery
Our usual turnaround time is 2-3 weeks, although this is subject to change at busier times of year. Please check the banner announcements on the home page for up to date estimates. You will be notified when your order is dispatched, and we endeavour to keep well within the time frames advertised.
Purchases may be delivered to any UK mainland address, providing the card holder supplies their registered home address. Please note that card holder details are checked securely by SagePay. At the moment Yarny Bees is unable to supply products to customers outside of the UK.
Please note that we are unable to accept liability for any delay to your delivery that is beyond our control.
Returns
If you are not entirely satisfied with your order, we will be happy to offer a full refund (less the cost of delivery) or exchange providing the goods are returned unused and in their original packaging within 28 days of dispatch.
Returns postage is a direct cost to you and we regret that this cannot be refunded.

Product Descriptions and Prices
Yarny Bees has taken great care to ensure the reproduction of colour is as accurate as the photographic and production process allows. As all of our items are handmade, actual size and colour may vary slightly but this is indicated in the description.
We make every attempt to ensure our prices are accurate. In the event of a pricing or description error we reserve the right to withdraw an item from sale, under the terms of the Sale of Goods Act.
We reserve the right to amend, modify or withdraw temporarily or permanently any price or product description without notice. You shall not hold us liable for any such modification, amendments or withdrawals.
Workshops
Bookings for workshops are made for a specific time and date, as noted on the product page. If you find you are unable to make a workshop after booking, please get in touch as soon as you can and I will do my best to find an alternative workshop and transfer your booking. You will also have the option of cancelling your place for a full refund if the workshop is more than one week away. If less than one week, I can offer a partial refund less the cost of the materials purchased.
If I do not hear from you prior to the workshop, and you do not show up for your place, I will offer you the option of a transfer to the next available date as a show of good will. I am unable to do this more than once, due to the popularity of my workshops. I am unable to offer refunds for no-shows as materials and venue hire have been paid for based on numbers attending.
The Craft Hive
The Craft Hive is an ongoing subscription, with monthly payments taken each month on, or around, the same date. You can cancel your membership at any time. There are no refunds for partial months if cancelled after payment has been taken. You may continue to access the sessions until your renewal date. If a founder membership is cancelled and that member wishes to re-join, the current monthly fee will apply. This is also true for any other subsequent price rises, you stay on the price you join at unless you cancel your membership and later re-join.
By joining the Craft Hive, you agree to be kind and courteous to other members. Bullying or hateful comments will not be tolerated and will result in you being removed from the Craft Hive session and your membership will be cancelled. No refunds will be applicable in this circumstance.
Yarny Bees acts as the host of these sessions, and is not responsible for any advice, conversation or comments made by others in the group.
Non-UK residents who purchase this membership agree to being bound by UK jurisdiction, and UK laws apply.
Our Rights
We reserve the right to reject an order as a result of any of the following:
- The yarn required to complete your order is unavailable.
- We are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
- We have identified a pricing or product description error.
Indemnity
You agree to not hold us liable for any damages, losses, costs and expenses caused by any delay to delivery of your order, or any other event beyond our control.
Confidentiality
Your name and address details will not be exchanged or handed to any third party, unless required to do so by law.
Data Protection
We confirm that any personal information which you provide to us, or which is available via public registers and any user information from which we can identify you, is held in accordance with the registration we have with the Data and Information Commissioner’s Office. We use your information only for the following:
- Processing your orders
- Carry out surveys to help improve this website and any of its services to you
- To send you occasional advertisements and website content
- To enable us to administer this website
- If you have consented, to notify you of products or special offers that may be of interest to you, or to provide you with a periodic newsletter.
- We may occasionally share personally identifiable data with carefully considered partners unless you have requested otherwise when signing up to our newsletter. You may update your preferences at any time. Email admin@yarnybees.co.uk with your request.

Using the Yarny Bees website indicates that you have read and agreed to our terms and conditions. Placing an order through our website confirms that you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions.
