“Afternoon Tea” Workshop with Jenni Stone Designs – 5th July 2026

Join Jenni from Jenni Stone Designs on this afternoon tea themed illustration workshop, to draw a range of delicious cakes, biscuits and hot beverage using drawing tools and adding splashes of colour with watercolour inks and fine liner and brush pens

Jenni will start off with some quick sketches, demonstrating how you can draw confectionary items and teacups onto paper using simple forms. Experiment with colour combinations and fine liner pens to add beautiful decoration. Jenni will continue to guide you and provide useful tips along the way.

In the workshop you’ll explore using a range of drawing and painting materials and the art of creating pattern. You will cut out the individual elements, arranging and sticking onto A4 or A5 paper.

The workshop is held from 2-4.30pm on Sunday 5th July, at Yarny Bees, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield, WS14 9DT.

The workshop will be led by Jenni Stone, a Lichfield-based artist.

It is open to everyone, whether you have no experience or some prior experience. All materials provided, step-by-step instructions and support.

And of course, there will be plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits! We will finish with a nice cup of tea, coffee or cold drink and invite everyone to share their work and to celebrate each other’s creative artwork.
