Are you getting in the festive mood? Maybe you’re a fan of a handmade Christmas? Come and join this fabulous festive workshop, where you will be guided through the process of creating 3 hand-painted Christmas cards using watercolour paints.
You do not need any experience, this is suitable for complete beginners so don’t worry if you’ve never tried painting with watercolours before. You will be shown all the techniques needed to create the wreath, bauble and Christmas tree cards.
Held at Yarny Bees, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield, WS14 9DT, on Sunday 7th December from 2-4:30pm.
This will be a small group workshop so if there are other designs you like, these can be demonstrated also. We will paint on A5 watercolour paper (300 gsm) and experiment with the designs available (see photos). When you are happy with your final designs we will attach them to pre-made cards (with envelopes provided).
You can make up to 3 full cards to take home but you will be able to create as many A5 designs as you like in the time. Ink stampers will be available to add text to your cards and we will use waterproof fineliners and metallic pens for detail. To add that extra Christmassy sparkle we will also be using metallic/shimmery paints.
Full workshop price includes all materials needed, festive refreshments and full tuition. All ages welcome.
