Kantha-Inspired Cushion Cover Workshop with The Manbroiderer – 8th November 2025

A celebration of Indian textiles, storytelling, and stitch

Join us for a vibrant workshop where tradition meets creativity. Inspired by the rich heritage of Indian Kantha embroidery and the dazzling colours of recycled sari fabrics, you’ll design and stitch your own unique cushion cover.

🌸 What to expect:

You’ll begin by creating a patchwork base using beautiful sari scraps, then bring it to life with Indian block printing, hand embroidery, and embellishments like beads and shisha mirrors. Add your own flair with tassels, cords, and machine stitching to finish a piece that’s both functional and full of character.

• Hand stitching with expressive detail

• Machine stitching for structure
• Adding playful tassels and cords

YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN SEWING MACHINE.

The workshop is held from 1-5pm on Saturday 8th November at Yarny Bees, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield, WS14 9DT.
