Description
The shops are always filled with Christmas jumpers, but not always to my taste. If you’re the same, why not have a go at making one of your own? And starting in July gives plenty of time to get it done!
Using the Strange Brew “recipe” by Tin Can Knits, we will design our own stranded colourwork jumpers – using as many or as few festive designs as you like. You can choose the designs you like, as few or as many colours, and even which yarn you would like to use (the pattern comes in a variety of yarn weights too).
Join Becci from 9:30-12pm on Sunday 5th July at Yarny Bees, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield. You will work together to choose yarn and design your jumper and get started on the gauge swatch and yoke. Techniques used include knitting in the round, stranded colourwork and plenty of maths!
The workshop price does not include yarn, but does include a copy of the pattern/recipe which will be emailed to you after booking.
There will be further sessions offered over the rest of the year for further support to complete your jumpers if needed – these will be at a lower price than this initial workshop.
Full workshop price includes a copy of the Strange Brew pattern (purchased from Tin Can Knits on your behalf), full support with taking measurements, choosing yarn and working through the pattern and, of course, refreshments.
