Always marvelled at handmade yarny items? Well now’s your chance to learn to make some for yourself!
Our learn to crochet workshop is suitable for complete beginners, or those wishing to refresh the basics!
Join Mandy, our new crochet teacher from 10-12:30pm on one of the dates below at Yarny Bees, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield, WS14 9DT. You will learn how to get your yarn on your hook, how to do a basic chain stitch and double crochet stitch. You’ll learn how to read a basic crochet pattern and by the end of the afternoon you may even have learned a treble crochet and have the skills you need to finish your first project!
Full workshop price includes your hook, 200g of super chunky, 100% cotton yarn (DMC Natura XL), a tapestry needle, written patterns and refreshments. You will be making some basic squares and taught how to join these to make your choice of project. Choices include a market bag or a cushion cover, among others.
Yarn colours will be available to choose from on the day.

A great beginners workshop! I had never crocheted before and found Becci’s workshop very relaxed and encouraging. I also liked the fact it was hands on, so you crocheted from the start and Becci was on hand to help in whatever way. I would recommend!
