Are you looking to extend your crochet skills? Perhaps you’ve been doing the same stitches and need a new challenge? Crochet Club 2 with Yarny Bees is the perfect place for you!

Come and expand your skills, with more advanced projects to help you increase your skills month on month. All hosted in the Yarny Bees workshop, 69 Upper St John Street, Lichfield, WS14 9DT.

Each month, you will be provided with all the materials you will need, included in the course fee. You’ll then work with Becci, alongside a small group of other crochet enthusiasts to hone your skills. Please note, some projects may not be completed during the session. To get the most from the course it is advisable to continue to practice in your own time.

Starting Sunday 12th October from 9:30-12pm at Yarny Bees’ workshop

Subsequent dates: 9th November, 7th December, 18th January, 15th February, 15th March. (All sessions run at the same time.)

All the monthly sessions are included in your course as well as one free session each month at The Craft Hive, so you can come along, meet other people who enjoy craft, and get some support from Becci in between the classes.

There are a number of Craft Hive dates each month, so you can choose which one best suits you.

Month 1 – Adding texture

Project: Face scrubbies

Skills learned: Puff stitch, bobble stitch

Materials provided: 1 ball 4ply cotton yarn, 3.5mm crochet hook

Month 2 – 

Project: Headband

Skills learned: Foundation double crochet, starting without a chain, surface crochet

Materials provided: 2 balls aran, alpaca and wool yarn, 7mm crochet hook

Month 3 – 

Project: Slouchy hat

Skills learned: Front and back post crochet, decreases

Materials provided: 2 balls DK cotton merino yarn, 4.5mm crochet hook

Month 4 – 

Project: Different granny squares

Skills learned: Reading a crochet chart

Materials provided: 2 balls 4ply cotton yarn (Please bring 3.5mm hook from previous month)

Month 5 – 

Project: Wall hanging

Skills learned: Intarsia (Multiple colours making a design)

Materials provided: 3 balls aran cotton yarn, 5mm crochet hook

Month 6 – 

Project: Cowl

Skills learned: Mosaic crochet

Materials provided: 2 balls aran merino wool (Please bring 7mm hook from previous month)
