Have you tried embroidery before, have you followed a pre-printed pattern? Have you ever wondered if there is another way to create your own beautiful, hand-stitched art? The answer is a very big YES!

This course will free you from pre-printed designs, enabling you to develop your own artwork, without the need for a pattern. Tony, The Manbroiderer, will show you how to paint, print an colour the fabric for the base of your artwork, helping you think outside the box.

If you’d love to try freestyle embroidery then this is the course for you. You will work with Tony, over the course of four monthly sessions to create your own piece of artwork. No embroidery experience necessary.

Full price of the course includes all materials needed to create your own masterpiece!

The course starts on Saturday 5th April from 1-3pm, with subsequent sessions on 10th May, 7th June and 5th July. All sessions are held at the Yarny Bees workshop in Lichfield.

Tony has recently moved to Aldridge, and is a respected textile artist and hand embroiderer. He has exhibited his work at several venues and created numerous commissions. Tony’s love of nature, and all it provides is his main inspiration. He finds shape and pattern and incorporates the natural flow for all his artwork. Tony loves to combine paint, print and stitch into his work and enjoys sharing these skills with others.
